Røkke and Fredriksen into the Farstad – NRK

Farstad has long worked with to get to a restruktureringsavtale. In the past there have been agreements at the time, but these have been halted.

With today’s agreement comes the heavy actors that Røkke-controlled Solstad Offshore, and John Fredriksens Deep Sea Supply into the eigarsida.

Several industriekspertar have in a long time said that this industrigreina need a consolidation. That is what these companies have gone together to get to.

– For the industry and the involved companies I think samanslåing and the establishment of a great, powerful actor, it is only right, says Swedbank-analytikar Stig Erik Kyrkjeeide to the NTB.

Managing director Karl-Johan Bakken is happy that a deal is in place, where also banks has given his own blessing.

– This makes the company stronger and better equipped to compete for new jobs and assignments. Yet, it is still too early to say anything about when several boats come in work, says the Ground.

This agreement comes at a time when the individual gradually begins to see an upturn in oljenæringa again, with rising oljeprisar and possibly more missions. Still can’t Karl Johan Bakken say anything about when and if more of their employees come into work again.
