Labour goes against blow to the British elections: – I am deeply disappointed, says Miliband – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): The choice would be so smoothly, according to opinion polls published in time before election day in the UK on 7 May. How it does not appear that there is.

Through the night it has become clearer and clearer that Ed Miliband Labour is not going to be able to cope with Prime Minister David Cameron’s Conservatives.

Soon after, at 7:10 in the morning, it appears the Conservatives can get a narrowly majority alone, reports the BBC.

– Disappointing

Just after 6:30, it became clear that Labour leader retained his own place in the UK The House, however, that his party has gone on an election-bang.

– This has been a disappointing night for Labour. Scottish nationalism at the expense of us. I am truly sorry for what has happened, said Ed Miliband front of their own choice circuit early Friday morning.

He was referring thus to Scottish independence party SNPs very good choices. Many Scots have obviously preferred SNP over Labour thus been SNP representatives before Labour representatives.

20-year-old won over Labour veteran

One of the most obvious examples of what is being described as a bump choice for SNP are 20 years old Mhairi Blacks victory over Labour veteran and shadow minister Douglas Alexander.

According to The Telegraph won Black with more than 6,000 votes, and writes that the 20-year-old probably has put an end to the political career Douglas Alexander.

The newspaper describes Alexander as one of Labour leader Ed Miliband political stars, which makes the loss so sensational.

Will likely continue

It therefore appears that David Cameron will continue as prime minister for the next five years. To his own constituency early Friday morning said Cameron that night has been strong for the Conservatives.

The incumbent prime minister was right over 35,000 votes in his own constituency Witney and regained thus his place in the House of Commons.

– I think we have got positive response from voters. This is clearly a very good night for the Conservatives. Thank you for your trust, I will not disappoint you, says Cameron.
