The limit for simplified customs clearance tripled – ABC News

The limit for simplified customs clearance is from July 1 raised to 3.000 million.

This amendment was adopted while limit momsfri commerce was increased by 150 million to 350 million, including postage.

Simplified customs clearance means that shippers as Posten, DHL and TNT will not need to submit one paper for each item to Customs, but papers for a variety of goods collected. This is also called collecting customs clearance, writes DinSide.

This should be easier and quicker for all parties.

She is not sure when this will come into force since forwarding agents wishing to benefit from this scheme must apply first. Customs will prioritize these applications.
