Attorney Stephan Eriksson, leading issues for passengers who have experienced delays while traveling with airlines, said the airline undermine the judicial process when it promises to pay compensation before the courts to process complaints.
Eriksson, who runs the firm Travel Rights , has 12 claims cases as he will now lead the English. All valid delays on airline long-haul routes.
Norwegian has sent a letter to the district court with the promise that they will pay compensation in three cases. This mean Eriksson undermine the process.
– If the English pay, but only to those passengers that I have added requirements, so we may have to think again and add a requirement for all travelers we represent, says Eriksson .
are treated individually
Head of Information in English in Sweden, Charlotte Holmberg, writes in a note to TT that all cases are treated individually.
The company encourages customers to make direct contact with them, not by law.
Eriksson says that the delays which have affected Swedish passengers, can be expected to be a straight marathon.
A total of 1,200 passengers require replacement after some major delays after they’ve been standing Kjos-fixed in including Bangkok and New York.
The first woman out in court Monday is Charlotta Holmquist, who experienced 16 hour delay when she and her family were traveling by Dreamliner to Bangkok in February.
The family of five will first having been carried by an old Airbus aircrafts when Norwegian’s Dreamliner had to be standing on the ground, then had to spend a night at the airport in Bangkok because of the delay.
– We have not received a penny in compensation from the airlines, not even an apology, says Charlotta Holmquist, represented by Eriksson.
Warns lawyer
English warns disgruntled passengers against the Swedish lawyer and believes he hyped the scope of complaints against the company.
– This lawyer and his firm, Travel Rights, seek actively delayed passengers to acquire clients. In addition, he sends out press releases with false allegations including mass lawsuits against English, says spokesman Lasse Sandakerveien-Nielsen Aftenposten Sunday. (© NTB)
