The interest in the substance of “Boat & amp; Fjord” at Hemne Væring is still great, we are seeing that our counter. We think the many activities deserve mention, and comes with several “drip” daily. Our program will not be able to get all the reports ready for presentation on the same day. Therefore we spread articles from Boat and fjord festival throughout the week after the cleanup is done Sunday evening. Now it is time to take a closer look at the traditional competition World Cup in båtklammerkast.

The origins of Hemnes its municipal coat of arms – båtklammeren – got to crawl under the Boat and fjord festival’s third day at Hemnesberget. Then came the unauthorized VM in båtklammerkast held on the lawn in the park once again. And not only did it physically hard over the poor båtklammeren. Midway through the contest had to wind it with some extra duct tape for not tearing apart. But also verbal overhøvlinger had to clamp endure. – “HIV clamp tell hælvet” – came loudly from the head cheerleader; Jan Martin Johnsen, when the mayor was going to strike with a long throw.

– This year we have a separate class for our local politicians, and we have several ready to throw, cried festival Kjell Idar Juvik before he even went to “ring” to show muscles. – I’m asking well as in national politician class, so the class I suppose I’ll be able to win, thought Juvik.

Here in this World Cup is not dependent on a complete list of participants weeks in advance. Participants signed up just seconds before they slammed it quite large and heavy båtklammeren off as best they could. Someone had disappointed ascertain that the country only a few meters in front of their feet, while others got clamp to fly pretty far.

The kids were also in the game, but had to throw the same major staple as the adults. For the youngest was the staple almost as big and heavy as themselves.

He sat down sharply resisted, but gave in to a colossal pressure from the public. With a somewhat bad knee shortage is probably a bit of footwork, so it was “only” 14.5 meters at the upright in Johnsen. – Not bad for a so utgammel man, there was a saying in public, but that he would have his name in the newspaper.
