One of the demands of the unions Federation and NPU was that Norwegian had hired more pilots. In addition to this, they wanted to reduce the number of purchases of holidays from 22 to 15 days.
last year the company bought over 3500 holidays and say they plan some of their production with such purchases.
– are you in tune with the employees when certain operations of the company is reckoned that the pilots’ time?
– 3500 days is not much divided between 700-800 pilots . Purchase of holidays is something we have done since 2002 and pilots receive double payment. Therefore, this has been an attractive scheme for employees, says Kjos.
