Norsk Tipping abused in the fake Facebook competition and Ask those you like, share and … – DinSide

Facebook page “Norsk Tipping NO,’ has shared a picture of a stack of banknotes.

“Win 20,000.00 tax free $ for the next 60 months! ” is written over the picture, and people are asked to like, share, comment and tag others in the picture to participate in the competition.

THOUSANDS TRICKED: When this screenshot was taken had the number increased from approximately 4,000 to over 8.000 divisions of about ten minutes. The web link below, which shows to an iPhone-scam, is what the scammers really want you further over. As always, it is the money your they are looking for. This is more or less exactly the same svindelmetoden Dinside have seen and warned against regularly in the last six months.

But at the time of writing has over 8.000 norwegians passed on – once again.

The last few months have Dinside warned against fake competitions among other Star Tour, Red Bull and Gamestop.

And concluded that the fake Facebook competitions now has become a national disease.

Norsk Tipping warns

“We have been made aware that it has come a new fake page here on Facebook that is abusing the Norsk Tipping” writes the real Facebook page of Norsk Tipping, and continues:

“Since is reported to Facebook. Please be aware of this, and that it is not we who have posted the contest on this page.”

Therefore, you must always search for other Facebook pages with the same names, and check whether these warns of an ongoing scam. It takes about ten seconds.

Like, share, comment

But the scam can also be revealed long before this.

«The click først, thinking afterwardså and sending the problem on to the next»

For the fraudsters to spread the fake their pages as wide as possible, ask those people about to like, share, comment and feel free to tag others in a post. Therefore, exactly what they ask for in this case, too.

Furthermore: To post a photo of a stack of notes and ask people to like, share and comment to win, sounds hardly like something the Lottery would found on.

So sorry floskelen, but this can obviously not be said too often: Is it too good to be true – yes, you know the continuation.
