Vard acquires Storvik Aqua meet the Requirements of the

Sunndal-a company with 33 employees into the Vard.

Skipsbyggingskonsernet Vard Group AS, buy Sunndal-the company Storvik Aqua, sign Vard in a press release Thursday afternoon.

Storvik Aqua has delivered technological solutions to the aquaculture industry and sea – and land-based plants for 30 years. The company from Sunndalsøra has spent a lot of time and resources to develop new technology.

Storvik Aqua was founded in 1985 by Storvik Steel, Hydro, Grytnes Entrepreneur and Sunndal Elektro with Peder Anders Rød as ceo.

The occasion was that Akvaforsk (now Nofima) in Sunndalsøra had the need for a foringsautomat that could replace much of the manual work that it once belonged to a fiskeoppdretters everyday life.
