In august reported that many iPhone 6 owners are experiencing that the screen on my phone has a bug that causes berøringsfunksjonaliteten stops working, and that the display shows a blinking, the gray stripe at the very top. The issue led to a class action, but it has been quiet from Apple – until now.

On their support pages it appears that Apple now has responded to the “touch of disease”, as the problem has been baptized.

Fixes the problem for 1600 money

Apple writes that some iPhone 6 Plus phones shows flickering screens and have signs of problems with berøringsfunksjonaliteten. In the same sentence say Apple, however, is that the problem is due to that the phones have been dropped on hard surfaces several times, which has led to injuries.

With the other, it appears that Apple places the responsibility on the part of users, thus also the solid paid to fix the problem. On the Norwegian version of the support page provided reparasjonsgebyret to 1649,75 money.

Apple discloses further that, if the users already have made repairs, which probably is related to the foregoing issue, the company will refund any difference between what you paid and the fee on 1649,75 money.

iFixit will have identified technical errors

It is uncertain to what extent Apple has made the technical investigation to get to the bottom of the “touch of disease”problem. As we reported in October, the website iFixit has made a thorough investigation and found that the problem is in the kontrollerbrikkene that converts the touch on the screen to the signals.

specifically, the issue should be that the contact between the kontrollerbrikkene and the system board to be cut, which means that it does not help to switch out the screen. That said, there is submitted a class action lawsuit against Apple, and what will be the outcome of this is uncertain.

Now, Apple will supposedly into new product segments: the Company is working supposedly with their own AR-glasses “
