Britain’s central bank keeps key interest rate unchanged at a record low of 0.25 percent.

the Reason is that the growth in the Uk economy has been larger than many analysts had feared after brexit-vote in June. The growth has also exceeded the central bank’s own expectations.

In august lowered the Bank of England base rate for the first time in seven years. The decision was taken that the economy is better, would be able to stand against the negative consequences of brexit.

In last year’s fourth quarter was kvartalsveksten in the uk economy 0.6 per cent. The value of the british pound have gone down by 20 per cent since the brexit-the vote, which increases the possibility of inflation.
