Jan Fredrik Karlsen resigned – VG

Jan Fredrik Karlsen (42) built his entire fortune and career at his company Playroom. Now he has resigned from the job in the company he started 14 years ago.

– Playroom has been an incredibly nice entrepreneurial story and I remember the first speech my boss PolyGram continued: Employ people who are better than you. It has always done, and now the whole Playroom better than Jamie and me. To see the change and that the company has become bigger than us have been rewarding, says Karlsen said.

Jens mentioned in Karlsen’s quote is his event-maker partner Jens Nesse.

Jan Fredrik Karlsen has spent the last year most of the wind as the new musical general for Eurovision. In May he put on all the blame for Norway and Agnete Johnsen failed to qualify for the Eurovision final in Stockholm.
