The new Volkswagen Tiguan has already been well received in the Norwegian market. Now also Tiguan to even more issues that are especially attractive to the Norwegian market, writes the importer in a message.

The front-wheel drive variants of the new Tiguan comes with four different engine options, and comes both with manual transmission and DSG automatic transmission. The new entry-level version of the Tiguan program thus becomes Trendline 1.4 TSI with 125 horsepower and six-speed manual transmission. This will have a starting price of 308,300 kroner. Diesel option with the same gearbox is 2.0 TDI with 115 horsepower. This will have a price of 328.000 million (excl. Postage and shipping charges).

Two-wheel-mounted Tiguan with DSG transmission is available with 1.4 TSI and 1.4 TDI 150 horsepower. The former has a six-speed transmission and automatic cylinder cut that reduces consumption. Diesel model has a seven-speed DSG gearbox, and the price of the two models are respectively 401,000 and 415,400 respectively.

Also Tiguan variants with 4MOTION get these days an extended engine program. Business Line version are now available with 1.4 TSI with ACT cylinder cuts and 150 horsepower in combination with six-speed manual gearbox to 411 600 kroner. In the summer of this model will also be available with six-speed DSG gearbox.

In the heavier end of the model range comes Tiguan Highline now with a 2.0 TDI engine that provides 190 horsepower combined with 7-speed DSG and 4MOTION to 485,500 crowns.

during the summer will also Tiguan family get a new flagship in the form of a 2.0 TDI providing full 240 horsepower. This will be delivered in combination with 4MOTION and 7 DSG. With this model in place, Volkswagen offer a full model range of the new Tiguan.

The new Tiguan is the first SUV that is based on the Volkswagen Group’s new MQB platform. It provides greater flexibility in the design of the car, and also contributes to weight is reduced by 50 kg compared to its predecessor – while the car has been both longer and wider.
