Skioo Holding obtains more than 50 million – Sunnmørsposten

– This capital raising defines the start of the next stage in the development of Skioo. We have great respect and humility in relation to the hard work now to be done ahead. We are also very happy to have gotten Cancia and Investinor with as active partners in this important phase for the company, says founder and CEO of Norselab, Yngve Tvedt, in a press release.



Application

Skioo has in fact developed an application and website, which makes it possible to buy ticket on the mobile. The company is currently working on developing services for purchase and rental of board and skiustyr, travel, food and drink. On the way to an even better solution has now collected over 50 million from investors Canica and Investinor.

– In addition to capital, we have arrived at with us two competent investor communities, which can contribute greatly to the development of Skioo the next few years. Canica is one of the largest and most experienced investor community in Norway, and has also proved itself as a very good company to build e-commerce. Investinor, the largest venture investor, through its long-standing ownership Alpinco developed a lot of expertise from the ski industry, says Tvedt.



Svindal

In November 2015 wrote Sunnmørsposten about Skioo and Norselab for the first time. They had been with himself Aksel Lund Svindal of the team, and the popular skier still has great faith in the project.

Skioo has until now had an office in Lausanne, Switzerland. Now it is determined that a headquarters will be established in Oslo.
