Britain’s prime minister, Theresa May warns in a speech that she wants an equal relationship with the EUROPEAN union, and not by a partial membership.
May put on Tuesday unveiled its vision for the country’s opting out of the EU.
– We want a new and equal partnership, between an independent, self-governing the united Kingdom and our friends and allies in the EU, ” says May in his speech.
– No partial or associated EU membership, or something that leaves us halfway inside and halfway out. We will not go into a model that some other countries have. We will not hold on to parts of the membership when we go out, ” says the british prime minister, which states that “the united Kingdom leaving the EUROPEAN union”.
She emphasizes that the country will work to get the best possible access to the Eu’s internal market, despite the fact that the united Kingdom goes out. But without being a part of the internal market, will the Uk also do not pay large sums of money to the EU. What is the connection with the british ends up with, is still the subject of negotiations, she states.
