In the past two months (December to February) has been sold 2.818 new homes in Norway, according to a new report on new housing sales in Norway (Econ New Housing) of Economic Analysis.
There are 3 percent fewer than in the previous two-month period, but 19 percent more than in the same period last year.
the sale represents 17 percent of the homes that have been for sale, and is roughly the same sales rate as at crossroads (two months ago ) and a year ago.
Standstill in west
the regional differences are becoming large.
Eastern Norway had by far the highest sales rate with 23 percent, ahead of Northern Norway at 18 percent and Central Norway of 15 percent.
Western and Southern Norway had the lowest with a sales rate respectively. 12 and 11 percent.
In Stavanger sales pace only eight percent, against 35 percent in Oslo.
The turnover rate corresponds to new housing sales last two months as a percentage of the number of sale (which is unsold two months ago + the number of new homes that have been put up for sale since then).
Clearly the most expensive in Oslo
the statistics include 38,768 housing units 1591 projects. In February, 13,324 of these unsold.
The inventory of unsold homes has fallen by 213 since December.
Price per square meter of all dwellings in the statistics are averaging 46.500 million.
Oslo is highest with 66,000 kroner, while Stavanger is closest with 55.900 million.
In Tromsø, Bergen and Trondheim, prices were roughly 52.000 million.
In the typical district counties, prices are around 35,000 crowns per square meter.
