Acted throughout the store
VG could without problems act a several hundred square meters large shop on 1st Pentecost.
When customers came in as there were other customers inside the main store, they went simply subbands and traded throughout the store.
The store manager was not present. One of the employees said that they had given up and that they could not do anything but let people shop from the entire store.

VG got the store manager Håvard Pedersen in Rema shop on Hasle Sunday afternoon.
– I’ve been away and have no knowledge of this. But so shall it not be. I will grab it, he said.
Pedersen says they are angry over a chainless competitor nearby, which holds illegal open year round.

– The customer is the boss
In Oslo we go back Rema store in Brugata. There is an area of about 100 square cordoned off. But merchant Mikail Adam Pour, and several other employees, shuttled into the big store, to collect items that are not in the little store, but as customers.

1. Pentecost, we visited two major Joker stores to Norway group in Bærum who had announced earlier in the week that they should keep open. They are both over 100 square meters and has held up on Sunday.

But the window at Joker store on Eiksmarka hangs a big sign where they are sorry that they have to be closed:

Director of Communication and Public Relations in Rema, Mette Fossum Beyer, does not deny that they are breaking the law, but says that everyone does it.
– We do what competitors have done over the years. We do this to ensure equal conditions of competition. We have reviewed 120 competing stores that do not follow the law. No one reacted before we did as the competition.
– VG has been in several Norway Group stores that have been opened earlier, but that is closed this Whitsun, because Norway Group has imposed on them?
