Kiwi settles flat after bikini stunt in melon disk – TV 2

The image was deleted by Kiwi shortly after it was posted on their Instagram account.

Kiwi expect them to be funny – criticism was not long in coming.

Distasteful

Social media manager Christine Krieg reacted strongly to the image, and threw themselves on an already heated discussion on Facebook.

– I was very angry. It is distasteful that such a large food chain will produce ladies on the way there. Using a lady in a bikini to sell fruit and vegetables, she said to TV 2.

– It is the objectification of the female body. Poor standard of Kiwi and very sad.

Kiwi sorry

The image of the female employees was taken in conjunction with a music video that was recorded on a Kiwi event.

– We experienced image fresh and humorous, and let it out yesterday on Instagram, says Kiwis communications director, Kristine Arvin, to TV 2.

– First came the much ‘likes’ and most positive reactions, which mostly was that it was delightful with a uretusjert image. But then we got several reactions that the picture creates body hysteria, and it was never intended, so we chose to delete the picture. We thought us not good enough for when we let it out.
