Housing prices reaches new heights – NRK

House prices rose by 1.1 percent in May. Adjusted for seasonal variations, prices rose by 1.2 percent. House prices are now 7.3 percent higher than twelve months ago.

-May was another strong month in the Norwegian housing market. We must go back to 2011 to find a year with stronger price development than we have had so far in 2016, says Christian V. Dreyer, CEO of Real Estate Norway.

High turnover

Overall, it sold 9,242 existing homes last month, 4.8 percent more than in May last year.
