John Fredriksen bought a private jet from Bombardier worth up to half a billion dollars. The shipowner trying to earn quick purchase and sale, and sold it last plane after one year, writes Dagens Næringsliv.
– John Fredriksen is a trader of general aviation, says a source close to the shipowner said.
No one in Fredriksen system will out what shipowner pays for the new plane, which is of a Bombardier Global 6000.
The airplane will be among the world’s most expensive and most exclusive, and can fly between the major hubs in the world non-stop. The price tag straight from the factory is around $ 60 million, equivalent to almost 500 million dollars.
Fredriksen new aircraft can be fitted
according to the newspaper to between eight and 19 passengers. The most common configuration, which also shipowner should have chosen have a separate bedroom, two toilets and space for around ten passengers.
