Mork says goodnight as Chief Economist – Aftenposten

Knut Anton Mork lends itself after 19 years as Swedish Handelsbanken’s chief economist in Norway. Kari Due-Andresen takes over Mork.

She has been senior economist at Handelsbanken macro group since she came from Norges Bank in 2010, where she worked as a senior consultant in macroeconomic and monetary policy analysis.

She also has experience as a research assistant and financial analyst. The education she has from the University of Oslo and the Norwegian School.

Due-Andresen says in a press release from the bank that she acquires a very exciting job.

– I am very excited. I am lucky to work with a field I am passionate and a team that is creatively and academically strong. This one of the most exciting jobs I could have, she said.

Handelsbanken was in 2013 the fourth-largest bank as measured by assets.

A lot has happened in Norwegian and international economy by that Mork started in the bank in 1996.

– This has been an exciting year with currency crises, the transition to inflation, China’s accession as a major player in the world economy and global financial crisis, he said.

Mork shall continue in Handelsbanken senior economist until he turns 70 years.
