This mail is just delete! – Your side

Your page It keeps popping up new scam mail from seemingly serious players as Danske Bank, DNB and Tax Administration. This year is no exception: Now receives Norwegians a new scam mail inbox, warning that you have received “tax refund” nominal 6874.44 million.

But since this has nothing with your tax to do, it’s just fine to delete the email immediately.

As you know received Norwegians tax return for 2014 in late March of this year, with a deadline to deliver this by April 30. Tax settlement does not come until at least 24 June.

There is also nothing called tax refund, so this fraud mail tries to trick you to believe.

So you should not fill out the form with your credit card number, so the mail asking about, but rather erase the whole thing.

Also last flourished there with mailer from what was apparently from the Tax Administration.

New this year is that fraud mail is written in Norwegian better and generally looks more professional out. Among other things, it also marked the Tax Administration logo.

But they do not send out emails like this.

– Tax Administration will never ask for credit card details, security codes, bills, copy of passport, driving license or account number via e-mail, the Tax Administration security chief Svein Mobakken previously stated in a press release.

Playing on trust, and just pretending to be a serious player, is a known method within phishing, as this is yet another example. If in doubt about an email you have received is real or not?
