Now cut banks mortgage rates – Aftenposten

Thursday it became clear that Governor Øystein Olsen cut its key rate from 1.25 percent to a record low 1 percent.

Soon after announced Nordea that they cut mortgage interest rates by up to 0.25 percentage points. Lowest rate is 2.45 percent.

For young people under 34 years and Premium customers are interest rate 2.65 per cent. Customers who binds borrowing rate, can get an interest rate down to 2.45 percent.

But savings are less favorable, then Nordea simultaneously cut deposit rates by an average of 0.33 percentage points.

Danske Bank cuts

Also, Danske Bank reported Thursday that they cut their mortgage interest, also by up to 0.25 percentage points. They justify it by falling market interest rates and growth objectives in the Norwegian market as background for clean cut.

New mortgage rate to 2.50 per cent are young, and young academics 2.25 percent.

Alerts new cuts this fall

Olsen also notifies that the key rate can be reduced further to fall.

– How we now consider the outlook for the Norwegian economy, the key rate be reduced further in the autumn, says Governor Øystein Olsen.
