The 18 million travelers worldwide have participated in the pageant, where some 200 different airline participates .
The award is considered to be one of the most prestigious aviation. Companies are measured on a relkke relationship with everything from check to board-service and the general satisfaction with the actual air.
Oslo acquaintance has taken the title
Qatar, which has daily flights between Doha and Oslo, has taken the title from Hong Kong-based Chathay Pacific who won last year and this year’s number three.
Singapore Airlines is in second place, but the fast-growing Turkish Airlines – as several times a week has three daily flights between Istanbul and Oslo – are in fourth place. This company has climbed up the list every year.
Norwegian and SAS ports far down the list.
English were in this same award declared the world best on long distance low and as Europe’s best low-cost carrier, but harbors a long way down the list when there is talk about who should get the right to adorn themselves md title “world’s best airlines.”
SAS – We shall rise again
Norwegian ports on a 33 space and SAS 57. space. But while Norwegian climbs up the list from 38th place last year, falling from a SAS 52 place last year to a 57 space this year.
At SAS says director Knut Morten Johansen that year’s fall not is dramatic.
– It’s pretty much the same as last year. The ambition is of course aware, we shall rise also in the result list, so that it matches the high satisfaction among the travelers that we see documented in other contexts and measurements, says Johansen.
