Fabrini is the executive vice president for the business area Bauxite & Alumina. He was executive vice president and member of Hydro’s corporate management board in 2014. Previously he was the coo in the same business area and plant manager for aluminiumsverket Albras in Brazil. He has also been plant manager at Hydro’s facilities in Jamaica and in Australia.
Hydro does not disclose what is the reason for the immediate resignation.
Eivind Kallevik takes over as acting executive vice president for the Fabrini. Hydro states that the process of finding a permanent successor has started.
Kallevik is at the same time executive vice president for economics and finance.
