Former tobacco heiress and many billionaire Johan H. Andresen has been appointed new head of prevail, considering the ethics of Oil Fund’s investments.
The Council Hans Olav Syversen (KrF), chairman of the Standing Committee on Finance, believes it can occur impartiality when Ferd owner and major investor Andresen will lead Ethics. Andresen is the owner and chairman of its investment company Ferd, which has large interests in and outside the Exchange.
Johan H. Andresen- I reckon that the council would be immensely careful direct impartiality. But it might come indirectly situations where relationships between the fund and a trader interests can “spill over”, says Syversen.
