- Shares begin to be cheap – HegnarOnline

Oil prices plunge, the Norwegian krone depreciates and Oslo Børs fall to such low levels that experts believe stocks are becoming cheap, writes DN.

– We did not have a high-priced stock, but okay priced stock that has now slipped against cheap. It should be a usable 2015 and 2016, says manager Hans Thrane Nielsen Storebrand Asset said.

Oil Stocks have received a punch, but here too there is a significant potential upside, he says.

– Several oil companies are trading at levels we have not seen before. If oil prices rise again, there are several doubling candidates. But they must go through some painful years of low earnings before the turn.

A cocktail of low interest rates, weak dollar and low prices mean that exporting companies outside the oil-related will do well in terms of results, says Nielsen.

– A decade boom in oil have moved towards a recession in just one year. The depreciation allows mainland Norway is on track to become competitive faster than many had thought. For Norwegian export is the this brilliant, he says to DN.
