big challenge in Oslo
The largest growth in both sales and commissioning is in Oslo and Akershus. In Akershus is now annual rate of housing starts almost up against the housing need.
-Despite good housing starts in June, is many municipalities far behind that they should have built. It is especially many cities that are lagging behind. We encourage all local politicians to put housing on the agenda in the municipal election campaign, says Jaeger.
In Oslo ratio improved somewhat, but here, there are still a large negative deviation between housing needs and commissioning, it appears from today housing figures from boigbyggerne.
Figures from the association show that the annual demand in Oslo is estimated at 7,078 in the years 2015 until 2019, including redevelopment. Average annual starting in the years 2011 to 2014 was 3,415.
