5. January introduced namely a new rights-based subsidy for homeowners: Enova grant.
The scheme means that everyone will have the right to get back money if you can document the costs of a number of approved energy efficiency investments in their own home.
Earlier scheme has been designed so that one had to apply for support before project was completed. Now change the scheme and expanded to include new measures.
So: Do you go with plans to start production of electricity for own home using solar or wind power, you should wait to pay the bill until after New Year’s Eve. You will automatically be able to get support for a wide range of measures.
To be included in the scheme must invoice be dated in 2015.
Support for both energy consulting and solar
After the New Year can get support to:
- Custom production of electricity from renewable sources such as solar and wind.
- Removal of oil furnaces and tank and removal of oil stove and oil tankers.
- Varmestyringssystem.
- Varmegjenvinning greywater
- Heat pump. The scheme applies heat pump air-water heat pump liquid water and so-called exhaust air heat pump. Regular air-air heat pump is not granted support.
- Solar Construction.
- Energy Consulting.
- bio (heating of biofuels such as pellets or wood) and bioovn with water jacket.

Support for several measures possible
Many people can get support several measures simultaneously, but not to the same measures in the same residence several times.
In practice this means that one instance. can get 5000-7500 dollars in support of an energy advisor, further up to 10.000 million to remove oil furnaces or oil stove and tank and in addition another 10,000 dollars to install solar cells – or between 10,000-20,000 dollars to install an air-to-water heat pump.
NOK 250 million disbursed in total
The scheme is located in next year’s budget and has recently been adopted in Parliament. The administered by Enova, which is set by totaling NOK 250 million a year.
– This scheme will make it easier for homeowners to take environmentally friendly choice. It becomes more profitable for people to implement measures to reduce energy consumption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The scheme is simple and non-bureaucratic to deal, says Minister Tord Lien in a statement.
From January 5th one can enter enter Enova new housing portal on www.enova.no, select measures and see how much you can get in support. Homeowners can submit documentation of expenses in housing portal. Enova will disburse aid rapidly afterwards.
