the Fortunes of the richest people in Norway did a powerful jump in the last year, despite a huge impairment for riggkongen John Fredriksen (72).

It comes up in the kapital’s previous annual overview of Norway’s richest people for 2016.

According to the newspaper’s numbers have Norway’s ten richest a fortune on a total 324,5 billion, a significant increase from last year’s 288,25 billion.

Capital calculates, moreover, that Norway in the year has been 34 new billionaires, including the Norwegian co-founder Bjørn Kise and sandvolleyballspiller Bjorn Maaseide.

Here is the list of Norway’s ten richest women and men:

1. John Fredriksen (92 billion.)

Not surprising is John Fredriksen, Norway’s richest also in the year, with a fortune that amounts to almost a third of the total wealth of the country’s ten richest.

With its ownership of over 70 per cent of Norgesgruppen, ensures the Johan Johansson (49) is a solid third on the rich list to the Capital.

4. Johan Henrik Andresen (27,2 bn.)

5. Ole Andreas Halvorsen (26,4 bn.)

The U.S.-based hedgefondforvalteren founded in 1999, Viking Global Investors, where he currently is investment director.

6. Stein Erik Hagen (24 bn.)

After a good year for the Stein Erik Hagen (60), the investor’s fortune has risen to 24 billion.

7. Torstein Hagen (the 20.2 bn.)

According to the Capital has Torstein Hagen (69), the world’s largest within the river cruise, had a top 10-licence largest increase in the value of his fortune last year.

the Garden is unknown to most norwegians, but has a long career behind him and is well known in the maritime environment, with a background from The Bergenske steamship company in the 70′s.

8. Arne Wilhelmsen (19 bn.)

Also Arne Wilhelmsen (87) has built up his fortune through a career as a ship owner, with the education from the Harvard Business School.

the 87-year-old is, along with John Fredriksen, the only one on the list that has obtained his fortune reduced it last year.

9. Petter Stordalen (18 bn.)

He is not Norway’s richest, but most norwegians are hotellkongen Petter Stordalen (53) are far more familiar than their rich counterparts.
