DNB: It is "cheap" to stay in Oslo – HegnarOnline

The price difference between Oslo and Norwegian towns are much smaller than in many other countries, according to DNB. In Tuesday’s edition of the Financial newspaper we read that the bank predicts good speed this autumn.

– It signed a clearer and clearer picture of a housing market where it gets larger and larger differences between city and country, says President . director Terje Halvorsen DNB Property Finance newspaper.

Oslo matter alone in the lead when it comes to house prices in Norway. The difference between the capital and the “rest” is not a deterrent, says Halvorsen.

– The difference between Oslo and the surrounding area is much less than the equivalent in Stockholm, Copenhagen and further south in Europe. At that Norway is not even close, says Halvorsen FinansAvisen.

– Thus, it is “cheap” to stay in Oslo, add Halvorsen.

DNB top says However, that Oslo does its best to narrow the gap to neighboring capitals. In summary, DNB revised 2014 forecast slightly since the year began.

– We had a normal rise in August and believe this will continue beyond September and October. Probably we end up on an average residential price growth of 2.3 percent over the year, says Halvorsen.
