The upgrade of the Snorre A platform has been delayed and in late November announced Odfjell that 40 employees could be fired as a result.
But Saturday the company announced that they avoid this, writes Stavanger Aftenblad .
The solution was that the surplus for a period transferred to the so-called competence pool – employees who cover up for absences and additional needs in periods. Usually it new employees in Odfjell that begins in the pool before they get fixed offshore assignment.
