Jotun house paint gets ironing – HegnarOnline

Folksam, one of Sweden’s largest insurance companies, has assessed 45 of the most commonly used types of paint in Sweden. They are assessed on the quality, health and environment two years after the paint was applied.

According to DN, three of Jotun paints in the test, including two described as a questionable choice on quality and receive a failing health and environment. The last type of paint from Jotun rapids on both quality and health and the environment. But please note that two of the tested paints is not sold in Norway.

The Norwegian cheap brand Gjøco get better. One paint is considered a good choice in terms of quality, but are disallowed on health and the environment. The second Gjøco paint will have the same rating as Jotun’s best.

– I do not like that Jotun is weaker, says Morten Fon, CEO at Jotun.

According to DN he asks himself wonderingly that Jotun going so badly when two years ago was among the best. There is a weakness in the test that it is completed in just two years, believes Fon.

Only four of the 45 paints are approved:

  • Beckers Akrylatfärg Max
  • Beckers Perfect Akrylatfärg
  • Falu Vapen Fasadfärg
  • Alcro Consist Täckfärg
