The tax return should have been filed on 31 May, for companies and self-employed. But very many have still not submitted. Now comes the reminders.

– We know that many taxpayers are listed in our skat theme number that self-employed without being aware of it. The reason may partly be that they have previously driven business, but they still have not withdrawn from the Entities or VAT register. Employed can not make use of the exemption provision such personal taxpayers and pensioners, says communications director of the Tax Administration, Mariken Holter in a statement.

Those who have not submitted the tax return should deliver as soon as possible to avoid discretionary tax and surtaxes. Last year, approximately 15,000 employed persons and 23,000 companies discretion resembled.

This means that the Tax Administration determines the tax on the basis of the information the agency has. Additional tax for failure to deliver is usually 30 percent of the tax which is or could have been evaded.

– There will always be such that judgment equation can never be as accurate as if the taxpayer reports himself. Therefore, we encourage everyone to submit your tax return as soon as possible, says Mariken Holter.

Those who deliver late getting late delivery penalties. The fee depends on how late you deliver and how much net income and net worth is.
