Iraqi Oil Minister said that a proposal which is in connection with the Opec meeting Thursday to introduce a production ceiling of 32.4 million barrels per day, according to TDN Finans.
The country is optimistic about prospects for an appointment today.

Kuwait’s acting oil minister believes according to news agency that there is no need for a production ceiling, and that this can only work if everyone supports it. The country think it would be prudent to continue with the current strategy, which they believe works.
Oil Minister of the United Arab Emirates said on his part that the country would support the reintroduction of an output, while Nigeria’s oil minister does not expect that there will be an agreement today if there is agreement on a production ceiling.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Vladimirovich Dvorkovich said that the land can support a freeze agreement if all members of Opec to agree on this.
Oil prices
Brent oil is Thursday morning up 0.24 percent to $ 49.84 a barrel, while WTI oil rises 0.22 percent to $ 49.12 a barrel.
