The Swedish betalingsaktøren Trustly Group AB established in collaboration with Western Union a payment service in 2014 which made possible the direct debit of a bank account by use of the customer’s bank id.

DNB, explains in a press release that the background for that it will open a formal case is that the DNB and other banks blocked the Swedish betalingsaktøren Trusty Group ABs access to bank id for security reasons.

Trustly claims that the Norwegian consumers do not get access to a new payment service that is available in most other EEA-countries, writes Finans Norway in a press release.
