Two ekspertutvalg proposes to remove the requirement nok 30,000 in the minimum share capital and proposes a number of simplifications in the aksjelovene and stiftelseslovene.
The regjeringsoppnevnte ekspertutvalgene submitted Friday their proposals for extensive simplifications to the Norwegian trade and industry minister Monica Mæland (H).
– Aksjelovutvalget estimates that some of the proposals may provide total annual savings of over 1 billion. The assessment is therefore also important in the government’s forenklingsarbeid, says Mæland, who send the proposals out for consultation.
Aksjelovutvalget proposes among other things to open up for more use of electronic solutions, reduce the retention period for selskapsdokumentasjon from ten to five years and simplify the rules for limited liability companies where all the shareholders are directors.
More than three-quarters of the gallery has four or fewer employees, and 93 per cent of the Norwegian limited companies have four or fewer owners.
Stiftelsesutvalget proposes to make it much easier to transform the foundations. They will invalidate the distinction between ordinary foundations and næringsstiftelser. The committee also proposes that the chief executive in utdelingsstiftelser can get the authority to decide on certain distributions. (©NTB)
