Marine Harvest themselves canadian company – Today’s Businesses

Oppdrettsgiganten Marine Harvest has been preferred as the buyer of all the assets of the canadian Gray Aqua for 15 million canadian dollars, on a cash and debt free basis, according to a message Monday. The purchase price corresponds to the near 100 million.

Gray Aqua is based on the east coast of Canada and to be immediately subject to the trustee.

Acquired include a hatcheries in New Brunswick, two oppdrettslisenser in New Brunswick, seven oppdrettslisener in Newfoundland and a processing plant in Newfoundland. In addition, the company has applied for 17 oppdrettslisenser in Newfoundland which remains to be approved, states.

“Marine Harvest will immediately begin to prepare a production plan and investeringsrammeverk for the east coast of Canada, including the construction of an organization that will be able to produce 15,000 to 20,000 tonnes of harvested salmon annually”, it’s called.

the Completion of the agreement is subject to a final signed contract, as well as the court in New Brunswick approval.
