Hagen-daughter: Want more female CEOs – HegnarOnline

Stein Erik Hagen youngest daughter, Caroline Marie Hagen Kjos, took over last year as chairman of the family company Canica AS, which prevails over a money sack of over 16 billion. It makes her one of the most powerful young women in Norway, newspaper VG.

Hagen Kjos is currently in Davos, where she debuts as a participant at the World Economic Forum. Other prominent Norwegian women, as Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, WWF chief Nina Jensen and Professor Karen Helene Ulltveit-Moe, participates in Davos, but Hagen Kjos alone from industry’s top layer.

The only woman from businesses outside her, Communications Director of Rema, Mette Fossum Beyer.

– I would wish there were more female business leaders in Norway, says Hagen Kjos VG.

– I’d like to say there were more female executive in our industry and below. It is important to have a manfold of a management team, and when I think of sex, age, education and background, says DNB chief executive Rune Bjerke said.

– There is enough so that the low proportion of women Norwegian business leaders below represents the percentage of women in leadership positions in our listed companies, says Telenor CEO Jon Fredrik Baksaas.
