Mohn-nephew earned half a billion – Bergens Tidende

The company is owned by Trond Mohn’s sister, Marit Westlake Mohn and her son Stian Westlake, respectively 51 and 49 percent of the shares.

They both live in the UK but their money derives from the ownership of Frank Mohn Group, where Marit originally owned 20 percent.

Along with his brother

After the pump group was sold to Swedish Alfa Laval ended the sales price of NOK 13 billion in investment company Wimoh AS, which Marit Westlake Mohn now owns with his brother Trond Mohn.

The son of Trond, Frederik was bought out by Wimoh last December, so Bernie has now increased its stake in the company to 29.5 percent, while Trond has 70.5 percent.

150 million in dividends

It is money from Wimoh AS which harbors further Marit Mohn AS. And of the profit of this company on a half billion last year she takes and her son out a total dividend of 150 million. The rest goes to strengthen the equity of Marit Mohn AS as at the end of last year had grown to 2.7 billion.

Of these earned funds was around a billion kroner invested in equities, the next is as much in bonds, while half a billion accounted as deposits.
