Repentant thief sent money to school – Fædrelandsvennen

A former student felt bad that he stole from the student cafeteria when he worked there. Therefore he sent a thousand crowns in an envelope to school.

When the staff came back to Tasta wood school in Stavanger last week, expected a bit special sending mail. Two femhundrelapper along with a handwritten letter from a repentant sinner.

On the folded tag states the following:

Hello. When I was younger, I went here on Tasta wood. Me and a buddy stole money at the canteen when we worked there. I stole around 600-800 kr. Here is one thousand patch. Have guilty now. Hope you can forgive me !!

Did not know about theft

Rector Find Lea was touched when he saw the letter, and commends the sinner for his desire to make amends.

– It says something about the youth today. I showed the letter to HT, who said she wanted to show it in the Presidency, as an example that there are a lot of great young people in Stavanger, he says to Aftonbladet.

Lea has no trouble forgiving person, although he did not know who sent the letter, nor knew it had been stealing from canteen checkout.

– We have not been informed that someone has stolen from the cafeteria. We have pretty good control of money flow, and that is probably a few years ago this has happened. Eleven writes that he did it with a buddy, and there have been very few guys who have worked in the student cafeteria the last 7-8 years.

Student Council Treasury

The money will be placed in student council Checkout.

– How can it go into something positive for all pupils in the school, says Rector Lea.
