Just six hours after CFO Torgrim Reitan Tuesday morning was appointed executive director of the United States, he sat on the plane to Houston. After years of aggressive acquisitions, our operations in the country has been rocked by the low oil and gas prices. Reitan has even had to write down the Company’s book value of around 70 billion in North America. Nonetheless, he sees now opportunities to make more transactions.
