After much teasing in terms of interior images and kamfulerte production models, Skoda final ready to facilitate the veil and show us their brand new SUV – called Kodiaq.
The 4.7 meter long SUV is available with seven seats and a class-leading luggage space. It will be the first model in Skoda’s new SUV initiative and will be available in March / April 2017.
– With Kodiaq earner we a new course and opens new markets. With our first big SUV we go into a new segment for the brand – and when thus new customer groups, said director of ŠKODA in Norway, Kai Robert Solheim.
The car is based on the VW Group’s MQB-B- platform, and this helps keep the weight down, despite the car’s size.

Possibility of seven seats
Skoda is known for delivering practical solutions that impresses most, and Kodiaq is no exception. Despite the fact that the car is only four centimeters longer than the mid-size car Octavia, the interior space larger than that found in most other SUVs.
The rear seats can be moved up to 18 centimeters in the longitudinal direction and have individual adjustable backs.
It will also be possible to order Kodiaq with a third row of seats, and the SUV is thus Skoda first seven-seater.

720 liters!

More options for drive
From the start, there are five different engine options: two different diesel engines and three petrol engines. Displacement ranging from 1.4 to 2 liters, and benefits from 125 to 190 horsepower.
There will be a number of different options when it comes to drive – depending on motorization will either 6- speed manual or DSG automatic transmission with six or seven steps.
Both top models (2,0 TDI 190 hp and 2.0 TSI 180 hp) comes with 7-speed DSG and all-wheel drive.
