Tullow Oil says up to 50 employees and put down in Norway – Petro.no

The British company Tullow Oil has decided to shut down its Norwegian operations and dispose of its stakes in Norwegian offshore licenses. It is Geo365.no writing this today.

Tullow Oil has interests in 34 licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf including Wisting in the Barents Sea where NPD estimates that recoverable reserves of 240 million barrels o.e. Company cancels all employees and closing down the office in Oslo. 50 employees will be affected by the closure.
