Investor January Haudemann-Andersen does not optimistic about the outlook for oil.
– It may soon be ten years of low oil prices at around $ 50 a barrel. I think so, said billionaire DN in conjunction with the annual Skagen conference in Oslo.
He points out that it produced too much oil.
– It’s just to see what happened last oil price collapsed, says Haudemann-Andersen referring to price collapse in 1986.
From 1975 to 1986, oil prices rose by 600 percent. From 1986 the oil price halved in a short time. The remained at around $ 20 a barrel for over 15 years.
The market is out of equilibrium again, says the investor.
– We can only hope that the country has good adaptability, says Haudemann-Andersen to DN.
Brent oil now costs 51.31 dolalrs barrel, up 0.3 percent.
