Friday it became known that Aftenposten chief editor Espen Egil Hansen also takes over as CEO. It occurs as a consequence of the Sondre Gravir leaves Director job in Aftenposten to become the new President and CEO of Schibsted classified ads service Finn.
NJ-steward Frank Lynum says he is positive to the news that Hansen becomes publisher in Aftenposten.
– A model is very dependent on the individual and have not been current with us earlier. Espen however it can take such a role. He has the qualities allow him to tour both functions, as editor and managing director.
New tasks?
Lynum believes that single conductor model raises a need to adapt tasks both editors and in the commercial management. Editor’s top management was put together by Hansen when he took over as chief editor of a year ago. It consists besides Hansen of news editor Together they , political editor Trine Eilertsen , culture editor Sarah Sørheim , feature editor Lillian Vambheim and Editor Harald Stanghelle .
– Hansen came with an important insurance today that the editors did not lose a chief editor. He will still be visible as an editor.
