Norway's oil revenues halved – Aftenposten

According to the preliminary figures from Statistics Norway (SSB) is oil revenues at the lowest in 13 years.

– The decline is mainly due to weakening in oil prices from 671 million to 371 million during the period January 2014 – January 2015. This is a decrease of 44.7 percent, SSB writes.

For January 2014, the value of crude oil exports 29.1 billion crowns. Gas exports amounted to 24.1 billion in January this year, a decline of 2 percent compared with January 2014.

The low price of oil affected the foreign trade sharply. In the first month it was exported goods for 71.6 billion dollars, a drop of 20.9 percent. Meanwhile, imports of goods for NOK 44.5 billion, and thus became the trade surplus 27.1 billion.
