But there has been no formal contact between the parties over the weekend.

When Dagsavisen went to press, there was no sign of movement between the Federation and NHO.

If the deadlock continues, the strike extent increase further: Unions have warned that they will withdraw 269 members on strike on Friday 13 May. Thus, about 7,300 hotel employees in 700 companies affected by the strike.

– It’s a tough situation. It’s tough for many who lose money. But as was the situation when we do not succeed in mediation, there is full understanding among our members that we can not go on when the Federation will not four. Should we find a solution, both parties compromising, says chief negotiator Jostein Hansen in NHO.

– And where are you not yet?

– We are certainly not there today and I do not think we’re there in the morning, said Hansen told Dagsavisen Sunday.

The United Federation has made it clear that they will continue the strike until the employer comes to meet them. With 1.9 billion in cash strike, they have the muscle to keep going quite so long.

– No one benefits from this only lasts and lasts, but we will stay on as long as necessary. We want solutions, but then there must be a willingness from employers about getting our demands in the face, saying Grønli.

NHO Hansen is not surprised that the strike continues to escalate.

– It’s what I expected. They have plenty of money, but they intend to use up all on strike, even when there are no jobs left, says Hansen.

Last week it was reported some ampR episodes:

Guests witnessed the entrance of the Radisson Blu hotel in Oslo the Oslo was blocked by strikers who would not let anyone past. This led to anger among guests and powerful slips of the tongue with the strikers, reported NTB.

Unions for its part said the hotel ran strikebreaking, because the hotel brought in unorganized labor to keep the hotel open.

On Fefor Høifjellshotell on Vinstra, were the strikers rejected by security guards when they accused management of strike breakers, reported NRK.

– Amper is only the first name. It was an illegal boycott on several hotels, especially in the Oslo area, where guests and goods were prevented access to hotels, said Hansen.

NHO and its member companies are now considering the events will get after games.

– We will not use scuffles, but rather go loves the way, which involves lawsuits and claims for compensation. We have not taken a position on this yet, so time will tell how we land. However, I have driven past some hotels today, and it seems to have ceased. That’s good, says Hansen.

– There were some examples of strike breakers, but this situation has now calmed down. I have not received reports of any more episodes this weekend, responding Grønli in Fellesforbundet.
