Egon-owners’ preliminary final deal: 125 million in dividends – Aftenposten

Muskegon Restaurants had revenues of over 1.3 billion last year, which was an increase of 15 percent from the year before, writes Dagens Næringsliv.

  • the growth in turnover last year was good, but it was not so far above what has been the norm in recent years, said general manager Dan Robert Halshamn in Muskegon Restaurants said.

the chain reported a profit before tax of NOK 152 million, which was an increase of 16 percent from the year before.

This surplus surprises enough not Maaemo- chief Esben Holmboe Bang. Master chef, who takes 2,300 kroner per person (for food) in its three star restaurant, stated under Aftenposten food festival in May that it is expensive to eat at Egon.

Opened in Sweden

it was opened three new Egon restaurants last year and Halshamn says that part of the revenue growth is due to new entrants.

Among other opened chain in November its first restaurant outside Norway, in the large Mall of Scandinavia outside Stockholm.

Halshamn says that the reception has been exceptional, and that the turnover in 2016 is likely to be almost twice as high as budgeted with.

He says they now envisages to open one to two new restaurants in Sweden every year ahead.

  • Sweden is twice as much market as Norway, and in the longer term, over the next 10 to 15 years, will probably Sweden be the most important growth market for Egon says Halshamn.

Here is the latest indictment of Egon Karl Johan from Aftenposten matanmeldere:
