the Hansa-the beer is only to be found in Bergen and Hordaland. It is clear from the negotiations that have been going on since the autumn are now ended.

– This we have never experienced before. It has happened in Retail is that we have become a local supplier, ” says Hansa Borg ceo Lars Midtgaard at a press conference on Thursday.

Hansa Borg is also offered shelf space in the core area of the CB in College and the Castle, in the county of Østfold. The volume is reduced from 14.5 million gallons in 2015 to an expected level of a million litres in 2017. This corresponds to a reduction of almost 95 per cent in volume, according to Hansa Borg.

– This is about the Rema and the choices they have made about their best friends. We are not one of them. We have to go out and find new friends, and find new volumes, ” says Hansa Borg-boss.

Ringnes come in

– We feel extra sorry for Rema-merchants that we’ve had a good relationship in all years. So now it becomes hard.

In the Rema system is Ringnes preferred as the best friend and main supplier for beverages. This happens at the expense of breweries that Mack and Hansa Borg that periodically, too, has had national distribution to the country’s third largest chain.

Rema and Hansa Borg have negotiated all the way until Wednesday.

the Press conference should have come surprisingly on the Rema-system.

We have accepted an offer from Hansa where we agreed to continue to sell the Hansa in our stores.

was left with 10 per cent

It is the expectation that Ringnes now will get 75 per cent of the turnover in the Retail-shelves.

In Bergen, the discussion has around Rema and the Hansa gone hot for him.

Rema-merchant Eivind Madsen has pronounced itself critical to the Fanaposten about Hansa Borgs strategy.

Hansa Borg said even up the nationwide distribution agreement with Rema 1000 in 2015. It’s no use to come now and accuse Rema 1000 in order to prevent them to distribute the Hansa-products in the country, ” says Madsen to Fanaposten.

a Representative Helge Gjøen in Hansa Borg has been very critical of the Rema.

the Mood is not good here now a day. People are angry that a chain should be allowed to hold on to. Consequences for annenhåndsleverandørene becomes unsustainable when we are exposed to such upheavals. But as a union we can not strike against our own customers. It should take out. We believe politicians must grasp this, and put the rules of the game more fair, ” says Gjøen which is the chief union representative at Hansa Borg Breweries for the Norwegian ministry of Trade and Nytelsesmiddelarbeiderforening to the newspaper.

Grateful Ringnes

When the ceo of Ringnes, Anders Røed, commented on the new position in this way.

– That when the ceo and I can say that the model we have with Rema is new for us, and it is very exciting to see how it will work. We are grateful that such a large and important customer will have Ringnes as one of hovedleverandørene, but it commits and sets great expectations for us.
