Former minister of petroleum and energy Tord Lien has got a new job in the confederation of Norwegian enterprise.

Tord Lien was minister of petroleum and energy in December, and already then it was clear that NHO could be his next employer. Adresseavisen spoke of him as “høyaktuell” as the leader of the confederation of Norwegian enterprise office in the county.
Now is this become reality.
– With this hire, we have secured a very experienced regional director to help to lift our work for me and the Norwegian business sector, says deputy director of the confederation of Norwegian enterprise, Ole Erik Almlid in a press release.
Almlid says Liens political background from the Parliament, academia and as minister of petroleum and energy made him a clear first choice among the applicants.
Nutrition for welfare
Tord Lien originally comes from Øksnes in Nordland. He was member of parliament for the progress party in Sør-Trøndelag from 2005 to 2013 and then a minister until the end of 2016. He has a master’s in history from NTNU.
